I did some testing on gathering rates. dunno if they will hold in the final and they are pretty rudimentary, but here goes. civilizations are random, so there might be a difference here not taken into account (though i doubt it). Didnt try gold harvesting with dwarves. Anyway, just to spark some interest. Someone might've posted this a long time ago -
Seems the hunting upgrade is really worth getting on most maps. Unfortunately its rather expensive (100 gold, 100 wood or so) and will push your age'in forward quite some time. also the fish upgrade is rather cool.
